The Club is Coates and Company's standard setting live-aboard narrowboat, taking its inspiration from the popular Gentleman's Clubs in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Every Club model that we build is slightly different to all others as we always ask our customers what they like and learn from them
The walls are panelled in the Coates and Company signature American Cherry, enhanced with trim and detail crafted from solid mahogany.
The cherry walls give the whole interior a warm and sunny atmosphere, making the worst of the British weather bearable.
The ceiling throughout the boat is in the Georgian style, with the panels and ornate mouldings all hand fished and shown on the photograph on this page finished in a washable satin cream.
Lighting throughout the boat is provided by brass halogen down-lighters fitted in the ceiling, with additional wall lights in the lounge section, the lights in each area of the boat can be separately controlled.
Throughout the boat there are also a series of LED step and gunwale lights, handy when coming home after a late night out.
The Club layout is designed with practicality in mind, with the kitchen at the stern and the bedroom in the bow, so no need to run up the entire boat when you get home with the heavy shopping or just want to put the kettle on when cruising down the river.
The Club is designed for two to live in comfort with no daily furniture shuffling, however for those occasions when you have visitors over, the dining table converts to a narrow double bed.
